about

Somebody who did a lot for me w/ me is gone because of a mutual vice. I still do drugs, albeit far less frequently than when I was an addict, but I want to remind everybody who uses (or abuses) to be smart/safe about it, because you will literally never know how much it hurts your loved ones when you’re gone. Point blank, my close friend Timmy is no longer w/ us, we lost him last year & I haven’t been able to properly express how I feel about it. This EP is that. Macabre Renaissance is continuing the chaotic energy he brought. I am proud of this project because it encapsulates what has happened & what is coming next. Myself, Bradley, & Joee all got to work on some of our most experimental vocals, production, & engineering (respectively) yet. Shout out Bradley Layne for producing every song, Joee aka $mokemidd for mixing every song + dropping a verse, Davon for working on track 3 w/ me, Guillotine fka drrty (NOT PHARMS, DIFFERENT ONE) for the guest production, & Jarrid for the beautiful art (as always). Shout out to everybody Timmy was close to & shout out everybody who didn’t like him that doesn’t bad mouth him now that he’s gone, I love you. Cry 1,000 thug tears to this for your lost loved 1’s too. I’m like 95% sure you can’t read this, but I really miss you & a part of me is gone w/o one of my best friends surviving hell w/ me... Love you 💜 RIP Shula.
